Household Applied Literacy Blog (HALBLOG) is a global household dedicated to equipping families with practical wisdom to nurture moral growth in children and to confront challenges that undermine family values, faith, and the pursuit of lasting success. We foster an environment that encourages risk-taking, experimentation, and collaboration—essential creative skills that lead to profitable outcomes for individuals and organizations alike.
The HALBLOG commonwealth matrix and visual magazine are designed to provide practical education and effective mentorship for young people, serving as an alternative support system for entrepreneurs and innovators who are developing leading-edge solutions. We inspire and empower youths to think creatively, challenge the status quo, and generate new ideas that drive positive change and progress—supported through our unique venture philanthropy initiatives.
The family and its members is in relationship unique to the church, the family should be first viewed as the domestic church “the church of the home” “the household of faith” this is true because it has the same functions as the rest of the church, but it is the church in a family way. The Christian family is in fact the first community called to announce the Gospel to the human person during growth and to bring him or her, through a progressive education and tenet, to full human and Christian maturity. This recognition of the family as a true and significant essence of the Church encourages the family to look not only without but within itself for strength and support in the growth and development of the Christian life and the fostering of the Kingdom of God.

What We Believe
Church of The Home
The household of faith “Church of the Home” has the power to become a source and celebration of God’s self-communication, God as its perfect model and representation, the family spirituality becomes the most important ingredient in the development of intimacy in the family. Spirituality that is revealed in daily activities of the family in a set of deep relationships, and the experience of a deep relationship with God who is real and true, personal, present, active and living in the lives of each member.
How the family lives together in such harmony and divine presence is what constitutes family virtue and spirituality. A spiritual family through grace is much aware of the Godliness of life, it point to the extraordinary to ordinary since there is more to life than experiences, in birth, in death, in nurturing, in delight, in sickness, in healing, in forgiving, in working through vocational pursuits, in growing through relationships, in helping one another cope with the realities of life.
Nurturing is another basic ingredient of family virtue and it is guided by grace and faith. Nurturing is seen on many levels; physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual. One needs to be well nurtured at home before one can understand the community’s celebration of Christ body and blood, and the goodness of life. Nurturing at home is in a real sense first body of Christ. The community of the family is the first sign of God’s nourishment. Parents provide the first rite celebrations when they help children to see and understand the “more than” just tangible food which makes up family meals.
Healing and forgiveness are also part of the “weft and warp” of family existence. Brokenness is often first experienced in family relationships. Reconciliation binds families together and helps them grow in relationships which affect the larger community. It is within a family that all members evangelize and evangelized, by virtue of this rite (marriage), as spouses fulfill their conjugal and family obligations they are penetrated with the Spirit of Christ, who fills their whole lives. This family community should not be subjugated or abandoned, the Church as the body of Christ is expected to proffer ways that shield and protect families from whatever attack that Satan has launched against the family.
