GALF – Aims and Objectives
To educate and advocate for children’s rights by championing access to quality education, combating child labor and abuse, and ensuring that human rights enforcement mechanisms are accessible to all. We aim to place children’s rights at the forefront of national and governmental agendas through a rights-based approach to education—one that addresses deeply rooted inequalities within society. Education is a fundamental human right—universal, inalienable, and guaranteed to everyone regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, or economic status. We recognize the vital role of children in shaping the future and are committed to expanding educational opportunities for every child.
To educate and promote venture philanthropy in communities, by providing financial support, guidance, and tools for measuring the success of promising innovation or corporate projects by investing in entrepreneurial and social enterprises, contributing in blended finance models, and supporting social impact bonds where financial returns are tied to achieving specific shared outcomes. Our aim is to create long-term social change by funding and supporting enterprises to develop business models that environmentally friendly, conduct market research, and implement marketing strategies, by providing a broad organization network for all and spearheading mutual cooperation that leads to value creation through the management of ground-breaking innovations by encouraging the establishment of blue-chip businesses that provides leading-edge solutions.
To educate people on the Christian faith and promote family values grounded in biblical principles. Nurturing is the foundation of family virtue and spirituality, guided by grace and faith. One must be well nurtured at home to truly understand the community’s celebration of life and the goodness it brings. The Christian family is, in essence, the first community called to proclaim the Gospel of love, guiding each person through growth and progressive education toward peace, social harmony, and full human and Christian maturity.
To educate the public and promote true democracy, good governance, and effective leadership by contributing to transparent and legitimate governance. Our work involves monitoring elections, strengthening integrity and accountability in both public and private sectors, and advocating for people-centered public policies. We aim to enhance the quality of governance in Nigeria and across West Africa by ensuring inclusive decision-making at local, state, and national levels. We champion transparency, accountability, anti-corruption, human rights, gender justice, and the fight against human trafficking. As a social agency and institution, we are committed to conducting research on democracy and governance, amplifying civil society voices, and fostering an enabling environment for civil society organizations. We also collaborate with local NGOs, humanitarian bodies, and grassroots groups to drive sustainable and positive social change.
To educate people on peaceful coexistence and provide mediation in disputes and conflict situations. We empower communities with essential skills in peacebuilding and conflict resolution, helping them understand their role as agents of peace within their environments. Our mission is to teach individuals how to promote and maintain social harmony, appreciate the value of peace, and apply basic mechanisms for resolving conflicts effectively. We also serve as a mediating agency, promoting alternative dispute resolution and advancing sustainable peacebuilding initiatives.
To educate and promote a green environment by raising awareness among individuals and communities about the importance of conserving nature. We encourage people to reduce water and energy consumption, shop responsibly, and plant trees that improve environmental health. Our mission is to share knowledge on environmental issues and inspire sustainable practices that protect the planet and human well-being. A green environment safeguards species from extinction, preserves habitats, enhances ecosystem services, and maintains biodiversity. We aim to cultivate eco-friendly habits that align daily human activities with nature’s resources rather than depleting them. Additionally, we engage in research and investigations on environmental degradation—including land, air, and water pollution—and other harmful impacts affecting the environment, animals, and human health.
To educate and promote healthy lifestyles while supporting individuals living with viruses, terminal illnesses, and other health disorders. We raise awareness about disease prevention, provide guidance for people living with sickle cell anemia to manage their condition, and offer support to cancer patients and others facing serious health challenges.
To educate and support people during humanitarian crises by providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs) affected by armed conflicts, communal clashes, or natural disasters. We respond to emergencies involving civil unrest, famine, and other crises by delivering medical care, nutrition, and sanitation support. Our mission includes educating vulnerable populations in devastated areas, providing food assistance, and distributing essential materials such as shelter and camping amenities. We also work to improve mobility access for people with physical disabilities. Additionally, we support post-conflict community rebuilding by developing basic amenities and social infrastructure that foster recovery and long-term stability.
Effective Leadership and Mutual Co-operation
This global social unit of faith and commonwealth network is designed to serve as a hub for individuals, families, and communities to access transformative education—unconventional yet essential for navigating our ever-changing world. It empowers people to make informed and impactful decisions that positively shape their lives and communities. As a commonwealth of people united by shared experiences, values, aspirations, and practical living, we are deeply committed to the holistic development of every individual, regardless of background or race. We believe that true change emerges when humanity rises above abandonment and mediocrity, challenging the deceit and corruption that have long weakened modern governance.
As an organization with a mandate to lead people out of poverty and create meaningful impact toward the good life we all aspire to, our programs are strategically designed to meet expectations through the implementation of core principles of transformation, empowerment, and self-determination. We aim to equip individuals to represent their interests responsibly and act with confidence and authority. Our central social commitment is to establish Creative Knowledge Environments (CKEs) that inspire innovation, foster growth, and position us as a global social leader driving positive change in the lives of people worldwide.
As a household community and an interconnected network of people from diverse backgrounds, we are united by a shared determination to create meaningful change and shape society progressively. Our devotion lies in building strong families, nurturing individuals, and guiding young people to seek, know, and do the will of God the Father. We believe that when the family unit is properly guided, led, and organized, it can fulfill its divine and original mandate—to raise godly children, multiply, subdue, and replenish the earth. Our conviction, activism, and philosophy center on promoting rectitude and best practices that cultivate children of dignity, strong moral character, and leadership potential—individuals who embody righteousness and serve humanity with their gifts and talents.
It is evident that our governments have failed, and believing they hold the solution is an exercise in futility. The true path forward lies in strengthening the family unit—building resilience to rise above the obstacles, challenges, and hardships caused by poor governance and failed policies. Waiting endlessly on government intervention will not end poverty, restore dignity, or heal the loss of identity that many families now face. Our first step must be to become our brother’s and sister’s keeper, fostering a community bound by goodness, purpose, and hope. Real transformation begins when we unite in solidarity, collaboration, and mutual support—seeking collective solutions rather than struggling in isolation. As the name suggests, “Household” should be our rallying ground—a platform for people whose aspirations have been stifled by corrupt leadership to make their voices heard, pursue purpose, and feed their visions with truth and knowledge. Together, we can achieve meaningful change, uplift our families, and rebuild society—not by depending on failing systems, but through the strength of a united community driven by shared aspirations and values.
To attain a favorable outcome called success, several essential factors must be considered. The saying “knowledge is power” remains absolutely true and indisputable. One must be intentional about learning and understanding proven principles and practices that yield consistent, positive results—principles that shape individuals through the power of knowledge, skill, and discipline. If we all embrace truth and live authentically by it, there would be no room for the strife and conflict we create among ourselves. There would be no justification for oppressing others, enslaving minds, or trampling on the defenseless. God, the Almighty Creator, made all men free and endowed us with the will to exercise that freedom responsibly. Therefore, it is not our place to deprive others of the liberty that God Himself has granted to every human being.
To overcome society’s complex challenges and transform obstacles into opportunities, effective leadership is essential. Such leadership must possess the uncommon will and vision to redefine direction and change the prevailing narrative. Through our research and careful appraisal of society’s current state, we identified a critical leadership vacuum—one that inspired us to commit ourselves to lead and bring about the much-needed transformation for our people. Recognizing that genuine leadership demands transparency and accountability, our team has established a governance system rooted in these values. This founding principle gave birth to what is now known as the Genea Advanced Literacy Foundation (GALF).
At the heart of this initiative lies a deep responsibility—to provide effective guidance and deliver the kind of strategic education that has long been lacking and stifling the growth of our people. This deficiency has bred anxiety, poverty, and hopelessness among many. Yet, despite the magnitude of the challenge, we remain steadfast and unshaken, convinced that the solutions lie in our collective determination to transform lives and communities. Our focus is to confront these issues through the dissemination of relevant information and knowledge-based orientation that empower people to overcome lack, poverty, and misery. For us to truly experience freedom and the fullness of life, we must embrace and align ourselves with proven principles and practical models that lead to lasting success—even when they challenge our traditional beliefs or perceptions. Too often, we have repeated the same unproductive patterns, expecting different results. It is time for a new mindset, rooted in wisdom, discipline, and transformative learning.
Enigmatic as it may sound, true transformation begins with healing ourselves. We must first tend to our own inner wounds before we can dedicate ourselves to the love and healing of others. All meaningful and lasting change flows from within—but this cannot happen until what is wounded is fully acknowledged, embraced, honored, and lovingly restored. The greatest Teacher and Lord, Jesus Christ, reminded us that we cannot remove the speck from our brother’s eye without first taking the plank from our own. Only then can we see clearly to help others. In simple, everyday ways, we can contribute to positive change by caring for one another. You may never know when you are the listening ear, the helping hand, or the supportive friend that someone desperately needs.
The idea of changing the world can feel overwhelming. It’s easy—and understandable—to think, “I am only one person; what difference can I make?” Yet if everyone thought that way, nothing would ever change. But imagine if each of us did just one thing today to make the world a better place—billions of acts of kindness, generosity, and social responsibility would occur, transforming the face of our planet. As someone once wisely said, *“I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.”
Whether or not you have a child, remember that children are the future of our world. Invest in them—tutor, mentor, or support an after-school program to help them reach their potential. And as you go about your day, consciously see the humanity in others. The homeless man you pass on the street is no less human than anyone else. Whether through choices or circumstances beyond his control, he deserves dignity and compassion. A simple, warm greeting could bring healing to his heart—and help heal the world, one person at a time. Treat everyone as equals, regardless of their social standing, for that is how true change begins.
Our forests are being cut down at an alarming rate. Conserve the trees by conserving paper. Send an e-mail instead of a letter, type directions into your cell phone instead of writing them down, and bring your own fabric shopping bags to the store. It’s easy to be selfish with your time, money, and resources by getting caught up in our material-driven societal expectations. Try being generous and see how your life changes. Buy snacks or pay for the person behind you in line at a restaurant or on the street, read to children in your free time, or simply stop and listen for the answer when you ask a friend how they are doing. Chances are that your generosity will energize you, and you’ll feel less helpless about how to make the world a better place.
Our forests are being destroyed at an alarming rate. One simple way to help is by conserving paper—send an email instead of a letter, use your phone for directions instead of writing them down, and bring reusable fabric bags when shopping. Small actions like these can make a big difference. It’s easy to get caught up in a material-driven world and become selfish with our time, money, and resources. But try choosing generosity instead, and see how it transforms your life. Buy a snack or pay for the person behind you in line, read to children in your spare time, or pause to truly listen when you ask a friend how they’re doing. Acts of kindness, no matter how small, have a way of reenergizing your spirit and reminding you that you can make the world a better place—one thoughtful gesture at a time.
